This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 12, 2009:
as a non member of any religious affliation i'd have to say i feel most enlightened by zen, tao and bubbist writings
i've spent my life being able to see outside the juedo-christan box, that is the cultish, brainwashing you children to love jesus and ask for forgiveness, box
although i must be honest and say i've never read the bible or the old testemest or the koran so the basis of the religion may be justified but as i see those around me get into pointless arguments over evolution or abortions i realize this modern day christianity is simply putting words in the people's head and mouth with out explaination
but the tao te ching is about simple truths that apply to us all.
much better, well rounded people develop from these readings
but hey that' s just me and everyone's entitled to their own opinons right?
